Structured memorisation at a pace that suits your child, with regular revision built in so that what has been memorised stays memorised. Short surahs through to longer-term Hifz goals.
Islamic Studies Basics
Daily duas, the pillars of Islam, and the manners and stories that give context to what they are reciting.
Male and Female Teachers
You choose. Many families prefer a female teacher for daughters, and we have qualified female teachers available for exactly this reason. Our teachers are certified in Quran recitation, Tajweed and Islamic studies, speak fluent English, and are experienced specifically in teaching children rather than only adults.
Reciting well and teaching children well are two different skills. We hire for both.
Timings That Work Around School
Because our teachers work across several time zones, lessons are available from early morning through to late evening, including weekends.
Most families settle on one of two patterns: a short session before school, or an after-dinner slot once homework is done. Shorter, more frequent sessions usually suit younger children’s concentration better than one long weekly class.
If a lesson needs moving because of illness or a school event, it can be rescheduled rather than lost.
What Parents Can See
Your child learns at the kitchen table, not across town. You can sit in on a lesson whenever you like, hear what is being taught, and see how your child responds to the teacher.
Lessons use an interactive whiteboard and screen sharing, so your child can see the text being worked through rather than only hearing it. Teachers report on progress so you know what is being covered and can help with practice between lessons.

Around five is a common starting point for Qaida, though it depends more on the individual child’s attention span than on age alone. Younger children usually do better with shorter, more frequent sessions than with one long lesson a week.
Can I request a female teacher for my daughter?
Yes. Tell us when you book and we will match her with a qualified female teacher.
What does my child need to start?
An internet-connected phone, tablet or computer, with Zoom or Skype installed. Study materials are provided digitally as PDFs at no extra cost, so there are no textbooks to buy.
What if my child doesn’t take to the teacher?
Ask to change. Fit matters enormously with children, and no reputable provider should tie you to a teacher who isn’t working for your child.
How much do classes cost?
